Been out traveling for a while now, and on a clear morning in France it was possible to witness a sunrise over Europe’s highest peak Mont Blanc.
The mountain is in the horizon about 160km away.

Starburst Landscape

Hi all. I haven't posted on this thread for a long time. I see you all have been up to your usual superb K-01 photography, awesome images here. I was out birding today, first sunny day in ages, and packed along the K-01 and DA 15. Took this shot of the nice sun on the escarpment. Love the starburst from that 15 limited. It makes you look for opportunities to shoot into the sun!

Yellow K-01 with 77Ltd. Takes a yellow camera to capture these golden yellow colors so well! Had to shoot at f14 to get the wanted dof.
thanks

I absolutely adore the painting like quality you managed to achieve in that shot. Bravo!

Traveled through the alps on my way from France to Italy. Might sound stupid but every second driving I was completely amazed by the size of them.
Where I live it’s almost completely flat and these mountains were much bigger then I ever imagined.

European Garden Spider

I think that's what it is, though they are usually not so bright in color, and the hairs are usually brown not white.

Handheld, and with the spider also moving: F 100/2.8 Macro, 2500 ISO, 1/160 sec, f8.

Shake reduction worked well on this.

Swami's (the Self-Realization Fellowship) in Encinitas, California... and a home at sunset, and the sunset over the ocean, a few miles away at Cardiff-By-The Sea. 35mm f/2.4 lens on Av at f/10, shutter speed and ISO selected by the camera.

Very vibrant! Good work for handheld on a moving subject of such a size.
