Been a while since I put anything on here - but my K-01 is still my most used camera. I've started using it from the cockpit of our Cessna 172, and while my Samsung NX100 is a much lighter option, the K-01 does an excellent job with the 35mm F2.4, but I can then put a 70-300mm on it when I get to my destination. When I'm flying (usually on my own) I have to be able to operate the K-01 single handed and with limited time to shoot - as my primary attention needs to be outside the cockpit. Having a decent liveview camera is a necessity (can't have my face stuck to an optical viewfinder!). Here's a couple of my favourite aerial shots with the K-01:

The Triangular shapes here are the remains of the WWII US 8th Airforce base at RAF Ramsbury Wiltshire

The spit protecting Christchurch harbour - on the South coast of England

The River Thames as it passes through Oxford

Interesting image! I like the mish-mash of textures and how the eye is drawn to the color of the fly.

Some shots of the Notre-Dame basilica in Montreal, using the Sigma 10-20mm F/4-5.6 - and a Sirui T-025X tripod, which I love! I added no color saturation whatsoever in post, btw.
