A wonderful camera for taking product photos.
Nice photo, and spot on- I much agree the K-01 is simply awesome for product photos! I shoot a friend's coins and ceramic pieces for sale on a regular basis (hey, she actually pays me, haha), and the K-01 is my go to camera for that hands down.
The napkin ring looks old, is that agate? It almost looks like layered opal.

Actually, I now own it (since about a week or so) and it works great. The adapter that plugs into the dummy battery also works on the K5-3 SLRs, too.

I'm glad to hear that it works well. You are the only I know of who actually bought it.

It is a silver ring of the brand 'Suarti'. No Opal - it is part of an abalone Shell.
