Thanks, Mike. I was no more than 75 yards from where the fireworks were detonated. Very cool.

Last week I traded for a like-new F 501/.7. AF is very quick on the K-01.

Going through the archives, here's one from last August. Wide-ish angle macro using a Sigma Superwide II 24mm F/2.8 plus 20mm of extension.

Messing around with my Helios lens. A good excuse to use the K-01.

Let me know which you prefer.

Chris, I thought that was one of your photos before I saw it was you.

I like how the model's arms echo the branches.

A pleasing image.

I prefer the black & white.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Much appreciated! The model loves the swirly bokeh and is begging that we use this lens again.

Both look great to me, but I'll give color the edge.

Wow LeRolls! You got skillz! Just about every picture that I have seen from you in the K-3 thread, Q thread, & this thread has been impressive. You definitely have an eye for composition.

Both of those images look outstanding, but if I had to pick one, it would be the B&W version, but it's only by a hair. It's like 49.99% color & 50.01% B&W. Haha! I think it's the contrast that makes it stand out.
