A shot from a recent model workshop.

I usually don't like the K-01 pastel effect when used on a portrait, but I think it works well here.

K-01 with DA70mm @ f4.0.

I would love to use my Taks for portraits, but a model workshop is too hectic, and quick-paced.

Anywhere between MP 212 and Boone should be good soon. The vistas in Doughton are always great if a cold front clears the haze. As always, come up during the weekdays during colors.

Fuzzy bump

Experimenting with a Phoenix/Samyang 500mm f/8 mirror lens I got recently on an auction site for $21 USD. Had to exposure-compensate (under-expose) on the K-01 by about a stop. Lighting was poor, and sharpness average (which I expected from a mirror lens). But...the bokeh. Disturbing and amazing all at the same time.
