Pentax K-01 Flickr Group

There is already a Pentax K-01 Flickr Group. Presently, it has only 60 images in it. I see that at least one (and maybe more than one) PentaxForums member has already joined it (hard to tell when some of them don't use exactly the same names in both places). I've been checking Flickr every day, waiting for new K-01 owners to post their images. Outside of PentaxForums, I usually get my best feel for the image quality of all the different cameras at Flickr. There are more amateurs on Flickr, too. Looking at their images sort of tells me if the camera is doing most of the magic all alone, or if a topnotch photographer is "tricking" me into thinking I can create the same sort of magic without any effort, if I only use the same camera

Hah - I forgot I have a Flickr identity and an expired Flickr Pro account. There's actually a 2006 image there under KX Monochrome.

It has been eleven months since I last posted an image there. I need to start posting again. The problem is that it is so darned easy to burn out -- for a variety of reasons.

P.S. I found your Flickr photo. ;-)

I'm on Flickr (Daiku_San), and have already joined the K-01 group even though my K-01 won't arrive till Thursday. I too have been watching the group for new photos showing what the camera can do.

I look forward to seeing the gorgeous Oregon countryside as photographed by the K-01, both on Flickr and in the Add your best K-01 photos here thread on PF.

It's filling up -- there are some mighty nice images there now!
