My other cat thinks that when I point a camera at him, it means "OMG LOEV TIEMZ!" so he comes running and purring and rubbing all over me, making it impossible to get a decent shot, so there are far fewer photos of him.
And to think that there are many people who can't believe cats can be affectionate.
I have a photo that my Dad took of a cat we used to have who did the same as yours, the headshot of the cat basically shows part of Dad's hand pinning the cat to the ground gently around the neck to get the photo, the cat has his eyes half closed and is obviously loving the attention. After all, to that cat, there were no bad humans, just friendly hands and little boxes that went 'click'.
They are funny creatures.
