Hoya do a nice line of rubber hoods. They fold back on themsleves for storage and work realy well and are cheap.
Superb knock protection inbuilt lol. Not seen them for years but then I havnt enquired either.

I usaulally use a Lumix LX3 for snapshots. Great compact camera. But the sensor is quite small - and the zoom options (24-60mm) are quite limited.
So, I got a K-01. I find that AF is a MUST for snap shots. I'm trying out a Fa 43mm 1.9 lIMITED and a FA 24mm 2.0, which are both very sharp, excellent Pentax lenses. I will soon be trying out one of my zoom lensens, as a snap shot lens. What i wold prefere is a something like a 24-90mm lens IN A VERY SLIM edition.Such a lens is unfortunately not available: Hopefully I'll find one some day :-) Untill then I'll probably use my Tamron 28-75mm f2.8, which is a brilliant, but rather large lens, but stilll smaller than my favorite zoom - the FA* 2.8 28-70mm AL :-)
