Just got back from Bic Camera in Yurakucho and noticed the brochure. After trying out the K-01 I sure would like a new one soon~... would you bite if the body was $500?

Looks like a good brochure to me.

The K-01 isn't all that bad at it's existing body only price level of (about) 750; which is also right in line with other mirrorless camera bodies such as the Lumix GX-1 (700) and Lumix GH-2 (900). It's also not much more than the Nikon V1.

Yet compare all of the features and options; such as the most major one (full size lens' able to interchange with an SLR body) thenthe K-01 wins every time.

It may eventually drop to 650 or so; or have more items added to it at the existing price, yet... Also consider the Pentax 40mm package which also cuts about 150 off of the price.
