There are a lot of people who won't buy something unless it looks good. I guess I fall in this category as well.

I had a close look at Fujifilm X10 and X100 today. They are so ugly. Like something out of a museum. K-01 may not make everyone happy, but atleast iit doesn't look like something my grandfather used in his day.

i take it as a selling point of the X100 to have that "retro" look which has it's appeal to some part of the market....

Just think of the Ford Ka or the Mazda 121 "jelly bean" car... it may have been cheap and economical car, but man it is so ugly to me I would not even drive it if it was given to me... but I still see plenty of people driving it...

I am beginning to acquire that retro look myself! Between me and my camera, one retro looking thing is enough.

I want one. I also like the shake reduction feature.

This is so hipster that it ends up being cliché.

That's a great thought... Imagine if this thing out-hipsters the hipsters and becomes so popular that if effectively ends hipsterism overnight.

I think they'll sell it. Ikea is one of the smarter companies (upsides and downsides to that, I admit).
