From the outside looking in - potential market segmentation, given historical DNA and (presumed) commitment to K-mount
WG-x = Pentax's take on the compact market; durable outdoor cameras (they continue to issue regular compacts that must sell somewhere)
Q Series = Pentax's take on pocket-sized mirrorless using a new mount. Over-engineered jewels. I believe Q will survive. K-0x series = Pentax appears to be using full-sized mirrorless as a video platform line, with excellent (but somewhat crippled) still output and small-profile lenses
K-x(xx) serie(s) = Pentax's tiered-features dSLRs. K-(x) = top; K-(x0) = mid; K-(x00) = entry. Pentax appears to market still-optimized dSLRs with video capability in contrast to K-zero line
L Series = (in my dreams) a full format professional system camera line (I am convinced this is in the corporate plan).
645 = studio and landscape. A complete set of external controls to manage the entire photographic process.
