Our top tech magazine reviewed the Q and K-01 (check respective forum). Here's for the K-01:

Scores:
Image Quality 9/10
Design, build quality etc. 6/10

Pros Build quality and interesting design, excellent sensor, SR

Cons Size and weight

Quick summary: Weird, toyish feel that disappears as soon you touch it. K-mount support, good usability and excellent IQ. A bit high price and the rubber SD flappity-flap. Good AF performance. The 40/2.8 XS is also very good.

Does that mean the camera feels right in the hand even though it looks wrong? If so, that has been my experience.

This may truly be a "Just Hold A" Pentax.

Sort of. They said it looks "interesting", not wrong. Some of the reviewers there are very open-minded. They gave the K-7 a favourable review in 2009 and one of them owns/owned a K20D.
