This makes the K-01 much more comfortable and safer to hold.

Very positive sideeffect ist that now it is almost impossible to open up that strange rubber flap accidently.

Material: CoCroMo alloy and the historic leather covering of an old Pentax Spotmatic.
Now I have even more fun using my brick

I am a dentaltechnician so I have lots of possibilities in the lab.

I modelled the thing from plastic and metal, later it was burnt out and the metal was casted in the hollow shape.

Thanks! Yes, it is called exactly like that. I used 2-component glue to mount it at the cameras surface. So it should never come loose again. Its feels really much safer in the hand now and its way more comfortable, cause the thumb has grip and support now where before there wasn't any.
