Zfinder with K-01

Has anyone used the Zacuto Zfinder Pro with the K-01. Are you able to change the battery with the gorilla plate mounted or must you remove it. Has anyone tried the adhesvie Zfinder mount with K-01? All information appreciated.

There is no HDMI out during video recording if you're planning to use it for that.

Yes I was aware of that but the Zfinder Pro is an optical device which does not require HDMI.

Ah i had their EVF in mind, sorry about that.

I sadly cant help you with your question, hopefully someone else can.
There are many other such viewfinders as well, maybe knowing what others use with the K-01 might help you a bit as well.

I got a cheap China one for my K5 and tried it out on a pre-production K-01.
Works well.
All of a sudden, you'd get a super large viewfinder.
Makes MF very easy even w/o the LCD zoom in, if zoom in even at 2x, the keeper rate is fantastic.
The only 2 downsides are how goofy it looks and the need to handle/juggle the LCD Loupe
