K-01 shutter release...like it or not?

K-01 shutter release gives me some problems. (sometimes)

Button is too flush. Have had times where I had to retake a pix since it did not release the first time. Hard to feel the release going down without pushing the on /off lever.

Never had problems in over 1k++ field shots; adding to that another 1k in studio shots.

But still wish it either had a threaded release or the option of a wired release. Sure it has the option of two wireless releases, but just not quite the same

Not a concern compared to other design issues

Everything seems firm, especially the dials. I have always preferred slightly firm shutter releases over hair triggers. It does play a slight role in making movies because you can't easily tell when the video starts rolling (unless you're watching for the red dot on the screen, of course). If this was the leading design concern, my heavens we would be a happier lot.

No problem with the K-01 shutter. Like the on\off switch better than the one on the K-30. Bigger and easier to use and I don't accidentally move it as often.

MediumFormatPro, some Olympus don't have wired remote socket but can be used this way by a remote that plugs into the camera USB. Since Pentax dslr's can be fired via computer/USB bet it is possible we will see it too.
thanks
