I like the K-01 for what to me is a classic look. It reminds me of a Leica without spending 9 grand!
My aging eyes also like the idea of focus peaking. I am starting to save up!

For whatever reason the K-01 is strongly visually appealing to me and the Canon and Nikon have no visual aesthetic value. They look like a used bar of shower soap.

I understand I'm an outlier but I hardly ever carry either dSLR anywhere any more - just the K-01. The dSLR just isn't appealing in any way.

Sensor size is between the two, usability (button layout) seems to be closer to the Q, i.e. more usable, sensor size is between the two.

I think the Pentax K-01 in yellow/black is a really stunning, good looking camera. I just wish the video qualities were better. Pentax just needs to fix a few things on it. That's all.

It's unfortunate that we're unlikely to see something for the Pentax K-01 such as the grip that available for the Leica M Monochrom. Or perhaps a somewhat more dedicated version of a hotshoe mounted optical viewfinder.
