Some frog shots with K-01.

Hi,
i was not very active here on the Pentax forums other than some reviews on the lens data base but i decided to show some of my frog shots taken with my K-01. I really like that camera for handheld ground level shooting .
I use it mainly with my DFA 100mm Macro WR and DA 35 Ltd.

Here are some shots:

Green Frog with DA 35 Macro Ltd, handheld.

Gray Tree frog with DA 35 Macro Ltd, handheld.

Spring Peeper frog with DFA 100 Macro WR with Pentax TC 1.4X-S, tripod.

Green Frog with DFA 100 Macro WR, handheld.

Hope you like them.

Great shots! K-01 macro shots are dead easy, especially with focus peaking.

I tried out the k-30 and k-01 yesterday with my sigma 105 macro and to my surprise, I find that k-30 is smoother and more accurate in terms of focus peaking with my macro lens.....maybe k-30 is a better choice after all.....

Hi Raider,
good that you could try both side by side, interesting, maybe Pentax made some improvements ?

So I never do this, but last night this frog was on my doorstep. Don't own a macro, so just the 40mm Ltd lens.

Except it's not a frog. It's a toad.
