K-01 sensor and shutter

Hi guys, I was out shooting today and I just realized that the K-01's sensor is kinda protected by the shutter when you switched off the camera when you change lens....I never realized this until today (yes I am a bit slow here)....so I am just thinking this is a good feature to protect the sensor from dusts during the lens change? I think it is a good thing the K-01 has this kind of design...to my best knowledge the NEX has its sensor fully exposed when u removed the lens.....

Just a casual observation

Interesting. I thought all mirrorless cameras have a shutter like that?
Though, DSLRs have a mirror and a shutter, but dust still makes its way in, so I think this won't fix the problem completely.

True...but the shutter of the K-01 is so close to the sensor (so it seems) and it is like the sensor has a protective "sleeve"....have a look at the K-01 if u have a chance
