Well I didn't use much equipement:

For the stills in the game:
K-5 Silver Limited Edition with the DA*300mm

For the image that is the cover:
K-01 with the FA31mm

For video:
K-01 with the FA31mm
Settings where Av and f4.0 and the camera doing the rest.

Rode stereo video mic for the interviews while the internal mic for sound recording during the game.

All video on tripod.

You have much better lenses than I do.
Though I get tack sharp photos from the K-01 using any lens, the video is really bad. Soft and aliasing on hard sloping edges whether I use AF before starting or MF with peaking.
I see the netting on the goal in your video looks quite good.
I use a tripod, I have SR off and I generally use Manual mode. Picture style I use is bright or natural but with sharpness and contrast full left with highlight centred.

No idea what is going wrong then, since when you have sharp images you should get sharp video. Maybe start with basic settings and all on auto and no adjustments, to see if that works.

Yes, auto was what I tried first when I bought the K-01, it was absolutely appalling, Hence the study into better settings.
Nothing has really worked so maybe I need to find an all girls football (soccer) team and starting shooting them
