Well, there's no accounting for taste. I would have to say the CZJ Zebras are sexier, even if it's shallow to favor outer appearance over inner ability (tho' the CZJs are no slouches).

The amazing aspect of the m50 f/1.4 is that it seems to perform better on the K-01 than other bodies I have (*istD and K20D). I can only assume that this is due primarily to my greater ability to focus precisely. Perhaps improved software is a factor (more natural saturation and contrast enhancement) is a factor. However, this "improvement" is not nearly so apparent in my other lenses (and in fact zooms such as the Tokina ATX-24-40) clearly lose out due to the higher resolution of the K-01 sensor. In any event, thought I should post a photo as this lens isn't among those posted yet (I do see an f/1.7 though).

Definitely, colours are fun. I wouldn't want my main DSLR to be anything but black though. Sometimes I want to look serious, sometimes I don't. My K20D is black, and my K-3 will most definitely be black.

I don't understand the infatuation with the yellow. I think it's absolutely hideous. White looks alright, black looks lots better, but the best color we didn't even get here -- the black and silver.

Here's my new yellow K-01 with M50 1.7, shot with my black K-01 and the kit 40XS. I just love these cameras. They had no idea at the time, but they actually made the M lenses for the K-01. I keep both of them in a very small camera bag, with different lenses mounted- makes a fun and compact kit!
