Looking good Jay08
I loved my Tamron 300/5.6 but managed to replace it with the F*300/4.5.
Getting an 'A' adapter on the old girl brought it into the 21st century.

My K-01 is slowly making it's way from Adorama, will post a shot on arrival
Pete

My new friend. The optical viewfinder was made by Nicca in the 1950's and is adjustable from 3.5 cm to 13.5 cm focal lengths.

Here is a self-portrait with my K-01. I love using my M42 glass on this baby! Focus peaking is where it's at!

If only I had two K-01s, so I could get a better shot.

That *can* be solved....http://www.amazon.com/Pentax-K-01-Compact-Body-Black/dp/B0076396OA/ref=sr_1_...ds=Pentax+K-01

In serious, that Rokinon looks really bad-ass on the K-01.

a small hint for the Rokinon : adding a 72to67 step down ring enables you To use Standard 67-Filters and changes the fragil plastic thread into solid metal (and doesn't have any influence to crop pictures)

Just got the black K-01 today, paired with my favourite lenses: Tamron Adaptall 300mm f5.6, pentax 17mm f4 fisheye, pentax da21 limited. So far I'm loving it!
Welcome to the K-01 club.
I have the Takumar 17 f/4 FE and I love how it looks and handles on the K-01.

What kind of strap have you got there? It looks pretty sturdy and comfortable.

Today my silver K-01 arrived. It looks great with the K 24mm f/2.8:

Nice compact combo to take with me: K-01 black with the 40mm XS and K-01 Silver with K 24mm, both setup to use right away instead of changing lenses and adjusting settings for full manual use:

Then I finally decided it was time to get the K-01, it arrived from Taiwan in just one weeks time. Price around 400 USD for K-01 + 18-55 including tax & customs fee. Anyway, so far It seems fine, but just been playing with it for a day.

How much was it, and could you get me one and send it to me (in Canada)?

Cheers,
Cameron
