Okay,

Got the yellow brick. I am sure that it is going to be fine, but does not seem to autofocus. Shows MF on top of LCD, yes I changed to auto on front of camera. Probably need firmware update. By the way, what is the easiest method???????????????? Also, a number i lower right of LCD screen , it shows 1600+, ??///?. Is it actuations?

Lower right is 1600+ shots you can take.

What lens? Did you twist the lens on tight? Sometimes the lens needs to be slowly twisted into place so you can hear the click.

No problem - what lens is it?

Recently another person had a k-01 and was reporting the same issue with the DA 40mm XS, and it was just that they didn't tighten the mount.

Lens was the DA 40 mm xs that came with the camera. It works now and I am a happy guy!
