Pentax O-GPS1 GPS Unit with K-01

Hi, I have Pentax O-GPS1 GPS Unit on order coming my way hopefully before Christmas.
anyone tested it with the K-01?
will that do Astrotracering or just geotagging?

According to the K-01 manual.
Downloads & Literature - PENTAX Imaging USA

Yes it can do the tagging and electronic compass feature.
No it can't do the Astrotracing feature or the "simple navigation" feature (whatever that is).

The $10000 645D cant usee the astrotracer function either.
Full functions on the K-r, K-30, K-5, K-5 II & IIs

I've been looking into the O-GPS1 too. Where'd you order it from, if you dont mind me asking?

yes I do have pdf K-01 manual ( the real thing , white K-01 with +40XS still coming ) and also Adam is saying the same thing in his review:

but sometimes all that might be not 100% true.
I have ordered O-GPS1 and for my Q : 06 lens , Q2K adapter and OVF for Q from local camera shop:
Camera Electronic Service Company Pty Ltd - Perth Western Australia
I am trying to support them for as long as I can, eventually they will all vanish and we will be left with on-line options only!
