They are on back order, due in Dec. 22.
I have to think that this is a typo or mix-up with the body only offer, but assume Amazon will have to honor the deal.

oh do you think Amazon goofed it up? hopefully they honor the deal.

I chose 2 days paid shipping so delivery date is 21st.

It would be pretty hard for them to not honor it with an invoice like that!

I paid $449 for the white model with 40mm from B&H, and now tempted to buy the yellow one too

edit, tried to put one in cart, and got a sorry message.

This is the second time the misprice happened from my knowdlege. The first time they honored the lucky ones who was able to order it. Hopefully, they will do again this time. Good luck.

That's the body-only MSRP, they might just ship you a body, but keep your fingers crossed! Moved to the K-01 section.

Hopefully they honor it. The invoice clearly says "with DA 40mm Lens." This is from Amazon, as opposed to some more shady or not well-known retailer. Let us know what happens, Yusuf!

Interestingly, when I ordered, it was advertised as sold by "Amazon LLC". Now same link advertise it as sold by "Adorama"

I noticed this deal yesterday, but it went fast since Amazon only had 5 in stock. The price went up because amazon sold out and they are showing the price from another seller.

Wow! What a great deal. Makes me wish I had money right now. That is literally a free 40mm xs for sure. Hopefully if they did screw up like Yusuf says, then they will honor it before they fix the prices. That's incredible. I am planning to buy a K-01 after I buy some B+W MRC's to protect my DA*'s to prevent accidental happenings.

Hello,
I just joined this forum. I've been a Pentax user since the early 1980's. (ME Super, LX and ZX-50). Many different digital P&S camera since then. Coming back to Pentax with a K-01. I was able to get in on the Amazon Cyber Monday $316 K-01 yellow with 40mm lens deal. Here is how my order has gone so far. They stated that the camera was out of stock and would not arrive until after Dec. 24th. I think they were hoping that I would cancel. I waited them out. On 12-15-12, I got a e-mail that my order is in stock and will ship soon. Est. delivery date of 12-19-12 (yay!). Order was shipped from Kentucky via FedEx smart post. It has now left MA. and should be in Maine (my home state) on Tuesday. Then the USPS has to get the camera from Fed Ex. (I wish Amazon would have sent it 100% USPS). Anyway, I will have it very soon. I think it will be the correct camera and lens kit. Amazon has a very precise order item and warehouse pick and pack system. I will report back as soon as I receive my order. I would have prefered a black or white K-01. But with the free 40mm, yellow is fine! Looking forward to using my old smc-m primes with focus peaking.
