As soon as I get mine it's going back out for a full spectrum conversion, so I figure I may get to use it sometime this spring!

The first, that I know of, shipping windows start tomorrow. I hate waiting. Seriously, I've become much to spoiled in the world of DVR's and Amazon Prime.

The amazon order page now lists availability as 1-3 months, whereas it was 1-2 months yesterday.

I have a new one that is supposed to be delivered in Feb, but as backup, I also ordered a SECOND one from the Amazon warehouse, that is supposed to be delivered today. It was $290 with the kit lens, and in "very good" condition. If like most other stuff from amazon like that, it will be new.

Damn if I had seen a warehouse deal for less I would've snatched it up too, never had a bad purchase through them!

I have been OCD and checking shipping status on the $315 new one, like every hour- the warehouse one popped up suddenly on Sat, and then it was gone.. poof :-) I didn't waste time ordering it! There are plenty of black ones in the warehouse, for quite a bit more than the yellow, but still less than the $399 black new

I had the black version a few months ago, and actually want the yellow one, haha. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled!

Mine arrived this morning from the Camera Store in Calgary after a 2 day wait (white with 40mm XS, shipped from store stock). A bit more expensive but at least I get the 2 year Canadian warranty. It must have been one of the last bodies in the country since many retailers didn't stock the K-01 at all.

Well, no shipping notice as of today. Darn, I was hoping my reverse psychology pessimism would have gotten me a shipping notice today. To say I'm anxious is an understatement. I don't know why I'm so anxious either, I have a perfectly fine ist that I can use for photos on my table at home, the weather has been (and will still be for a few more days) so bad I can't even get out to take photos, I think it just must be this "window" of wait.

They bumped my shipping window from January 25-February 25 to January 30-February 25. Ordered December 29th.

I'm fully expecting an order cancellation email between now and the second week of next month

Just got it! Looks new, but isn't. The shutter count was 204. Does anyone know a good way to run it thru some tests so I can test everything (like the sensor and lens) in case I need to send it back?

In my many years of ordering with Amazon, I have never had them cancel an order if they let you go through the entire process. Often they will send an email saying there is a delay and give YOU the option of canceling, but they honor the order and the price. For the times that I have wanted to order something from Amazon and they truly have run out of stock, they have always had a different message that says something like "this item is currently out of stock, click here to be notified by email when it is back in stock...".

So although your order may be delayed, I do not think it will be cancelled.

@PBandJ - mine had a shutter count of 70 something out of the box and was allegedly new. Years ago my K10d was in the 200 range out of the box. It's possible some of the shutter actuations occurred at the factory.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. Makes me feel better. I've taken 20+ pictures just sitting on the sofa. If someone did have it, they couldn't have had it more than a day or 2.
