Before someone voids their warranty actually trying this, I'm afraid a swapped-part black K-01 would not look that good - the black paint on the Pandatrooper has a smooth finish, and that on the black body has a 'pebbled' texture. You can kind of see it in the mock-up picture, but it's obvious in person.

A Sharpie might solve the whole issue without resorting to multiple cameras, screwdrivers, soldering, etc.

I kind of like the all black top, I really am not conservative regarding the designs etc, however the all black top makes it look less toy like camera. I see the reason why the top buttons and dials are vibrant in the design of k-01 but in this case conservative blend in makes it look good too. Or I am getting old
