I have my fungadget off the year in today. A little late, because I had to wait longer then expected, but boy is this a fun thing:

Holga 12S Flash. It runs on one AA-battery and looks good functioning. Guidenumber is 12 and it covers my 31mm lens very good (leaving room for weider, but I don't have that). It gets its signal from the middle-point off the hotshoe and only has one flashstrength. Wich works well for 3 meters and iso100, 1/160th and f4.5.

Toy little colorscreens are on it and they make fun. So WB on flash and just a filter infront off the flash. Could also give warm tones to your Black and White images.

Haha, awesome. You must get some great portraits with that thing - the expressions of the people.
Keep us updated if its actually useful/better than the on-board flash

Just took a look into this. At 3 meters, 1/160th, f4 and iso200 with the yellow colorscreen the image is perfect in an otherwise pitchdark room. Without the yellow colorscreen you can go to iso125, so one filter takes 2/3th EV ligth. Works good for a party. Like having your instagram-built in!

I can see where it would relax people with its bright color and graphics. I'm finding that my K-01 is doing that anyway, but the flash is very cute.

The Holga 160 flash looks to be about the perfect size for the Q, and it also comes in a ton of colors. Unfortunately, only looks like place to buy it (in colors at least) is eBay, with takes-a-month shipping from Secret Pirate Island (Hong Kong).

Not from Adorama or B&H Photo. Model 160, not the 12S. It's not for sale from those two retailers in any color other than black.

I bought mine directly from Holga and they have lots off fun stuff:
