Silver FA43mm F1.9

I thought I had the flu, but it was just LBA. I bought a silver FA 43mm F1.9 to go with my black K-01.
I hope I can stop!

You need to get a silver K-01 to mount your silver FA43mm!

That's LBA+CBA (camera buying addiction)...

You are killing me!
Seriously, I have a DA40mm but the subject separation that I see on the 43 plus the look of the silver one made me lose my mind for a minute there.

I have not been a k-01 fan from a looks standpoint, but that combination is really nice. Now I'm tempted.

What do you guys think of this lens on the k01? Photozone panned it on the 16m sensor when they re-reviewed it.

I am getting the FA 43mm precisely for the center sharpness as I already have the DA 40mm which typically has similar sharpness across the frame. I want the subject isolation that the FA43 provides. Good for portraits etc.

Good stuff. The 43 will be an absolute marvel to use - and that's on any camera. I've never been disappointed with this lens.

Rodin5, I love this combo. They seem made for each other (though the silver tone seems slightly different between body+lens.)

I have looked at the photos in the FA club thread for quite a while and I am very impressed by the FA 43 and all the great photographers. It seemed like I had to have it. (rationalization).
