Anyone recommend a cheap remote?

I have heard the Pentax WR remote also can focus with a button, but it's like $25. Are there any cheap knockoffs anyone has that can focus as well?

If I'm not mistaken the focus option on the remote is "in camera". You can set the camera to focus or not inside the camera and not the remote. Me personally I got the 99 cents remote from ebay. I also got the bigger one for $2. In total I bought 5 already(I lost 2).

I've tried 3 or 4 and consistently found this one to be the best of the bunch - and it does both the AF and the shutter functions.

I have this same remote, though I haven't gotten my K-01 to try it on, it works great on my DS (sans the autofocus piece). Cheap, shipped fast, not so small I feel I'll lose it.

Ok, I think I'll give it a try. Nothing to lose for a few bucks.

Have you been able to get it to activate anything more than the Autofocus and Shutter? None of the remotes I have ever owned have done anything other than those two functions.

The IR remotes are the same for all K and Q cameras.
