Found this interesting article where someone replaced yellow grip with a black grip.
I kind of want to do this to my yellow one, but can't seem to find any display model of k01...haha..

I've seen that! What about adding an actual grip like those made for Leicas, etc .. attach to the base plate and provide a proper finger/thumb grip ? something light & compact!

I like my yellow K-01 and wouldn't change it. But if the rubber gets ratty after a couple years of usage, I might consider replacing it with some faux leather or something.
Also, it seems more complicated than I first thought..
