With all due respect to the Bumblebee and the Panda (and I guess the Silver Surfer) this is the best looking K-01. Lens Pr0n just makes it better.
The Classic Black body does seem to show off old lenses better. For some reason, I think F-series lenses, with the charcoal body and orange/green markings, look better on the Pandatrooper.

(My pet name for the silver body is the 'Yerp' - since it was only available in Yerp.)

elpolodiablo, thanks for the Lenspr0n!

How is the AF speed of the Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 with the K-01?
In a word? Slow, not up to K-5's PDAF standard

I have the FA 135mm 2.8 and love the optical quality when paired with the K-01 but hate how slow it is to autofocus even with the latest firmware.
I found it to be the same, very slow AF when pairing with K-01, you may as well just use Focus Peaking and focus manually...

hm... this black K-01 actually looks pretty cool. I like the one taken with Carl Zeiss Planar T* 85 f1.4 lens.

How is the focus with this lens?
Fairly tricky actually, you have to account for the well documented focus shift problem of this lens...

Was there a camera attached to those lenses?
Nah, it's a fairly expensive rear cap

what strap are you using?
Like JJJphoto pointed out, it's a Crumpler Noose

My favorite is Step Ten, where we take a personal inventory... of our lenses...

Wow! What a great lens collection! I have the Pandatrooper and only 3 lenses: 40 mm DA limited, 21 mm DA limited and just recently bought an SMC 50mm 1.7 A from KEH in excellent condition. I love the looks of all 3 on the Panda! I haven't shot anything with the 50 mm yet. If it works out as well as I'm hoping it will, I could see picking up some more classic lenses. (Plus eventually a 70 or 77 limited... but for now, I can buy several classics for the less than the cost of the 70 or 77.)

Now I'm seriously tempted to get either a black or yellow K-01. I really love the way the camera handles.

At least with the price on the K-01 and the classic lenses my wife doesn't get too annoyed (after 40 years I think she's pretty used to my LBA and CBA.)

And I thought I had my LBA under control I think my Big Boss would prefer if I stick to good old fashion porn! At least I don't get that instinctive reflex action of reaching for my wallet to burn a big hole in it.

When did this get into fashion to stop making real images, but taking pictures off your own gear ???

You do have a thing for black as far as I can see.

I was actually doing it as proof of ownership for insurance purposes, but decided to have some fun with it anyway. Besides, I reckon the relative size comparison will be informative for potential K-01 buyers

Maybe I should delete the whole thing, too offensive

No no pleae keep this, because I'm waiting for several hundreds off followers on this new hype

Looking at this it does make some fun to have a collection off pictures off K-01 with a larger collection off the 25 million lenses available for the system
