Working with two K-01's! (video)

Yesterday we had in our top womens soccerleague Belgian Champion Standard de Liège to visit us in Eindhoven to play against PSV/FCE. A good evening to make a video. For this I used both my K-01's. The yellow for most off the work including interview with the FA31mm and the other one with the 10-17mm fish eye to cover the goal. It is in Dutch, but some off the images speek for them selfs.

Wow, that's great. What did you use for a mic?

An image made there:

It is this one: Rode Stereo VideoMic
Rode Stereo VideoMic - Thomann Nederlandse Cyberstore

Not to special. Only used this for the interviews and internal mic on the field.

Lovely work, looks really really professional! The only problem is that I need subtitles.

Ron: You continue to impress with your work using K-01's! Pentax should have had you under contract.

Thanks, well it is all part off a creative process. I allready had some weeks ago contact with Imke (about my exhibition) and I'm also mentioned in the magazine. So this was a good oppertunity to work on these things. The fish eye and second K-01 are very handy for this. An on going proces of making small stepps in improving.

Ron, I love how that whole video turned out and I was really impressed by the interview footage with the FA31. What exposure settings did you use for recording the video (P, Av, or M)?

Great stuff, I really liked the fisheye video from behind the nets. And I usually don't care about watching sports at all. You made it sort of artistic, exciting, and also made it look like the viewer is really there (because it wasn't filmed with a long telephoto)

Nice work

One question: How have you overcom the problem of the limited video duration of 25 minutes max - especially when you place a cam behin the goal for a game and every half-time (is that theright wier? - in German "Halbzeit") is exceeding that duration.

For the fish eye I made 6 clips, 3 for every half off the gaem. So I just walked over and started the video over again. On the side with the 31mm I only made 4 clips (and missed both goals).

The fish eye is new to me and it did bring what I was expecting. Only bought it 4 weeks ago, but had only limited use for it.

Both camera's in Av-mode, since I don't want the changing off aperture during the game. Didn't changed things, so FA31mm set on f5.0 (-0,3EV, except the first part off the manager on 0,0EV wich was to bright) and the fish eye on 10mm and f5.6 (-0,7EV). Probably I should have changed the FA31mm also to -0,7EV. The whole scenery is dark except when players are comming into the field, so the camera probably changes some settings in iso or shuttertime, but not in aperture..
