The 40xs makes it just way too easy to carry! Tons of compliments on it too, where as my old ist never got much of anything.
I'll put on the 35 plastic fantastic when I am able as I like the 35 vs 40 view just slightly better and it seems to give just a bit better optical results.

Since my K-01 is my "carry everywhere" camera, I usually have an old Pentax FA 28-80 on it.

In order, that would for now be:

31mm Ltd, 35mm/2.8 Ltd., 21 Ltd., 77mm Ltd., DA*16-50

Slightly skewed, as I got the 35/2.8 only after getting the K-01 Exactly one picture with the 16-50 just to test it

Well it is shifting, since I now use two K/01 body´s.

1) FA31mm
2) DA*55mm
3) DA10-17mm fish eye
4) FA*85mm
5) DA40mm Ltd.
6) DA*300mm

The only lens I never use on it is the Sigma 70-200mm zoom.

Joined the Pentax world recently (also shot with Nikon and Fuji) and still collecting glass. Most often are: 1) 40 XS | 2) 70 Ltd | 3) 10-17. Also very pleased with results using several TAKs (e.g 50 &100 macro and 35).

I forgot to mention the DA10-17. Probably my most used lens on the K-01.

Takumar 28mm with K-mount adapter. Manual focus so slow to use and not stealthy, but clear even if ancient. The package 40mm pancake which works well with monopod working in a crowd. Very clear photos in bright light. I'll post images later.

For "gardening": the F35-70mm
For museum crawls, wider is better, so mixture of: DA15, DA21, DA10-17, Tammy 17-50, Siggy 10-20, and Samyang 8mm Fisheye.
For walkaround: DA35, DA40, F35-70.

If I'm in a "manual" mood, then an M, CZJ Zebra, or a Rikenon. Variety is the spice of life!

1) DA 35mm for indoors(50%). I like to get FA*24mm someday. Where can I buy???

2) DA 17-70mm for walkaround(40%). Love this lens.

3) DAL 55-300mm for shooting the moon or wildlife.(10%). Focusing is slow, but I can fouse manually if necessary.

80% - 35mm DA f/2.4
20% - 28mm SMC-M f/2.8

Can I just say, that 35mm is a killer little lens. The focal length took a bit getting use to, I'm use to shooting a bit wider, but holy cow that lens is sharp, especially for the pocket change it cost.

For the moment :

1) DA 40 XS : 80%, because I mainly use the K-01 as a big compact camera when strolling the streets
2) DA 15 Ltd : 20%, mainly for long exposure/night shots, I use the LCD for these kind of shots and it's more responsive than the K-30, also the fact that there is no mirror is a plus

But a DA 21 limited is on its way, and I guess it could make a nice companion to the DA 40 for travels.
