I have been using the 18/55 kit lens that I got with my istL about 30% of the time. The 40 XS that came with the K-01 about 30% my KA 50 the remaining 40% of the time. Focus Peaking works really well for me, so I almost always use all of these lenses in manual focus mode.

I use a lot of older manual lenses on mine,

Pentax A 50mm f1.7
Takumar A 28mm f2.8
Chinon 50mm f2
Chinon 24mm f2.8
BPM Bellows for Macro

A Hoodman Lupe and the focus peaking really helps with all these and makes manual focusing a breeze, the Hoodman also give me that third point of contact which helps hand-holding stability.

I use an all manual kit with my K-01, I've had my K-01 since it's release and it's been a manual focus beast for me. I really need to pick another one up for cheap before they are all gone

Voigtlander Ultron SL2 40/2, my go to lens
Voigtlander Color-Skopar 20/3.5, my landscape lens
Super MC Tak 58/1.8, portrait lens
Super MC tak 28/3.5, new to me lens, still learning it, seems to be a great standard for blue sunny days
Tokina SD II 28-70/3.5, love this lens, not razor sharp but the color and contrast are superb, the lens gives images character
Tokina SD II 70-210, same as it's little brother

Need a good 70 - 90 and fisheye, looking to get some russians, the zenitar and the jupiter 9, should be good to go for like ever after that...

Mostly F28 f2.8 for me, although I have used the 31Ltd with it.

Thinking about snagging the 100mm Macro WR. Just wondering if any of you guys have experience using this lens with the K-01?

So far we have not found the K-01 useful with long lenses, unless on a tripod, and it's still somewhat problematic. You could do it if it was all you had, but we definitely haven't put away our K-5s and said "We're using this from now on." For long lenses, I'd probably pick up the K-x first.

I've used my Pentax K-01 with a variety of longer and heavier lenses; and besides focal stop limitations with some of the slower lenses, there's never been an issue.

I regularly use the Sigma 300mm f2.8, the Schneider t/s 50mm f2.8, and the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8. While two of those do work more effectively on a tripod I've used most any PK without a tripod or unipod.

Pentax DA 18-55mm - 20%
Asahi SMC Pentax-M 50mm f2 - 35%
Rokinon 85mm f1.4 - 45%

I only just got the Rokinon, so my percentage is really an estimate of the coming months - I love it.. Although I am a sucker for wide angle. The 50mm again is great, although it is again a little too long on the K-01. I think my next purchase will be the 14mm Rokinon.

Although I love the challenge of full manual photography, I do miss auto-focus... I think I should start saving for an AF prime, or maybe a 10-20?

Yes, the Rokinon is great! Wish I could find more excuses to use it though.

DAs 40 and 70, SMC-A 24 and Promaster 100/3.5 macro, probably in that order. And occasionally the 18-55wr. Others are too rarely used to deserve mention.

I was just thinking about that, and feeling it's actually a good thing about the K-01 for me at least. I often overzoom with the K-5 and get indifferent tele shots as I am not stable enough to get sharp results; at least with the K-01 in hand I know that I need a tripod with a lens like the 55-300, rather than pretending I don't. I should improve my technique or carry a 'pod of some sort, but that thought hasn't turned into action just yet.

The DFA100 works brilliantly with the K-01. It is my go-to macro combination: the lack of mirror slap, ease of framing at low angles and focus peaking all help.
The new firmware improves the AF speed greatly.
