AF Slipping

Just to pass it on in case it happens to you. A couple weeks ago, the AF on my K-01 went dead. When I focussed, all that happens is that I heard a bzzzzzzzzzz bzzzzzz bzzzzzzzzzzz sound, but nothing else. Removed the lens, put it back on, no change. Tried different lens, no change. Last... thinking ...darn, something gone bad on me, I switched to MF and back to AF, .... all was well again.

What happened, the AF switch was accidently ever so little pushed toward the MF side, enough to disengage the mechanical coupling, but not enough to turn OFF the AF function.

So beware if/when this happens to you.

This has never happened to any of my Pentax cameras for the last 2 decades. Perhaps the switch is a little loose inside?

I've done it a couple of times with my K-5 as I sometimes don't seem to push the lever all the way, now I know what it is instantaneously though.
