K-01 slow auto focus?

I bought the K-01 with the 18-135 WR lens and I'm finding it slower to focus than the 18-55. Is this my imagination or did I get the wrong lens. I'm considering returning it and getting the 18-55WR as I also have the 50-200. Any thoughts? Is this a lens problem or is it in the camera?

It's probably just an illusion, since the 18-135mm makes no noise. The K-01's AF is pretty slow overall, though...

As I recall the 18-135 focuses really fast on a K-5. My friend's K-01 focuses fast enough with my DA55-300. Maybe the motor doesn't play nice with the 18-135, but the firmware will probably take care of it.

AF -- when it works, which is very much most of the time, it's fantastic. And sometimes it works when it really shouldn't. Like today, a quick snapshot of a helicopter, way too far away, going in and out of the fog. Now, the picture's no good, but that's not the point. Look how small the aircraft is, against the white mist. With the K-01 on spot focus, I was able to get a focus lock before it went back into the clouds. Way to go, Pentax! And, as for me, I'll get an exposure lock on something different than green grass, the next time.
