My first extended use with my new K-01 came on my recent honeymoon to Italy. I really enjoyed the big and bright lcd as well as the detail the camera was able to provide.

Funny story- I handed my white K-01 to a guy to take a group picture during a cooking class and it had the 40xs on it, he asks "how do I zoom?" When I tell him there is no zoom he shakes his head and says "weird washing machine camera" lol. I guess the white color and prime lens threw him off.

Cool! Me and my K-01 are heading to Italy on the 28th. Heading to Naples and south.

Did you use a fisheye or in camera processing for the building shot?

Cool lens. The widest I have is the 18-55 kit lens I got with my kr.. Though I am looking at a vivitar 20mm I saw at at a store. Reviews were mixed but I was impressed by the pics I took in the store. Actually they had a used 10-17 I think...

Nice shots! I made a similar trip with my GF in 2008 (Venice, Florence, Cinque Terra among others). Unfortunately the year before I went into Pentax DSLRs..
