First pics with K-01

Finally got a chance to take the new beast out for a spin.

Ran into some nice lighting coming out of the pledge drive, and figured it was a shame to waste it...

This is with the F 35-80 I mentioned in the best small lenses thread; I'm actually fairly pleased with it so far, even if it tends to get negative reviews. Can always wish for better construction and faster/quieter operation (not to mention smaller size; the K-01's definitely living up to the 'brick' nickname so far), but I like the color rendering on the courthouse shots and the stone house, and there's some nice sharpness.

Lawrence Kansas is a beautiful town with millions of interesting shots. The variety in houses and historic nature are a natural for a photographer. Looks like the K-01 will suit you very well.

Looks good, a nice set for subject and color.
I have a Hanimar 400mm f/6.3 preset that will take some practice as well!
