K_01 has changed how I meter

I got the K_01 mostly because I could get a top quality sensor with all the great features that modern live view camera offers. Just being able to zoom in for really precise focussing was great, let alone the focus-peaking. A big plus was being able to use older MF lens and actually see what I was shooting in low light.
One thing that has really got me excited though, is the fact that the K_01 adjusts the brightness of the LCD, no matter what f-stop is used. For my DSLR, I bought the 50mm f1.4 so I could focus better in low light. I got so jealous of every kid with a smartphone seeing their shot on their LCD before they took it.

But now that I have been using the K_01, I have discovered that Live View does more than just focus better. I can actually see how the camera is metering.
Say I am shooting through an open doorway where the interior is darker than the exterior. As I move the camera around the area, the metering is adjusting itself. I can now lock (with the AF/AE-L button) what I feel is the best exposure and reposition the camera for a better composition. This beats shooting the picture and then adjusting the +/- button.
I don't know if other MILCs do this, but my K_01 has really made me rethink how I expose my shots.
