K-01 - future value over time

Give the K-01 full DSLR and video controls and it would still be going strong. As it is Prime M and an FA35/2.is sublime.

My first digital camera was a Nikon Coolpix 100, purchased new and discounted for $100 in 1998 IIRC.
I sold it last year on eBay for $179.
But, it was Nikon's first consumer level digital.
I doubt the K-01 will appreciate in value.
