Inexpensive Viewfinder extenders on eBuy

LCD SCREEN Viewfinder EXTENDER- Hi all- Has anyone had any experience trying these in-expensive viewfinder extenders from China?
I need something to use in the bright sun to frame my shots, I'm not shooting in the bright sun that often so I don't want to spend a chunk of money, I just want something cheap to use that once or twice a year that I might need it.
I just don't know which one to try , they all say for Nikon certain models or Canon certain models, the most well known cameras by the general public.

The Olympus Varimagni right angle view finder fits Pentax DSLR cameras perfectly, and can be found used om eBay, etc. quite cheaply.
