Any rumor on Blue K-01?

I'm a big fan of K-01 and own yellow, white, and black..

Will blue K-01 be released in the US?

I heard blue was the color from marc newson's original design. Is it true?

I'm afraid the only way you will obtain a blue K-01 is by purchasing a can of blue paint on eBay.
K-01 has been discontinued. Maybe K-02, if there ever is such a thing, will come in blue?
K30 is and K50 will be available in blue.

I haven't found any. I thought that there might be a chance for accessories like that when the K-01 had its burst of closeout sale popularity, but apparently not. DIY looks to be the way to go...

Someone tried replacing the rubber from one K-01 to another and posted it. Its like a tutorial.
So you can try finding a blue panel or painting the original. But be careful not to destroy the camera. Be sure to post photos if you do it.
And yes, K-01 is no longer in production. Maybe a K-02 will appear some day, but don't hold your breath for it

What about Silver? It seems they existed at one point.

European variant. Not sold in the US, we got the white one instead - lucky us.

Glad you are getting what you wanted. Still, it is strange that these have been released after the K-01 was officially discontinued. Decidedly odd IMHO.

Pentax K-01 Marc Newson camera resurrected in blue and white colors

After the price of the Pentax K-01 camera designed by Marc Newson dropped in half and was later officially discontinued, Pentax Japan announced today a new blue and white colored K-01 model. In the press release Pentax mentioned that this new model was released because of increase demand (probably in Japan). B&H still has few two lens K-01 kits that currently sell for around $450.
