Is there any known way to access K-01 debug menu.

Thanks

Allthough an old post, here is the correct answer:
RiceHigh's Pentax Blog: Unleash the Local Language Menu of a Locked K-01 Version

how this is done with the K3, you can read HERE

For the first file which must be named: 0077560.523 some hex editing is needed.
The 2.nd file is DEVELOP.MOD

1. Place both files for the K-01 on the root of your formatted storage card
2. Insert this card in the camera but leave the door open!
3. Switch the camera ON
4. You are now in the debug menu and can do a lot... but be careful, you also can do damage.
So find out what you need and study all well!

The K-01 was such an interesting step, to sad the idea got buried.

Totally agree. Put an EVF on it, and Pentax would be an alternative to Sony but with better pricing on lenses.

Dunno why people "need" an EVF. I'd much rather have PDAF, better recording options, clean HDMI and stabilization during recording.

EVF in my opinion would make it bulky to the point where I'd wonder why I didn't just go with the KP.

I need an EVF because it's nearly impossible to manually focus accurately without it. There are also times when the display is so difficult to see that accurate composition is simply not possible.

Yes. I always thought that was the only real weakness besides the initial price, to the K-01. Get one of those viewfinders that attaches over the LCD. Bulky but very effective;
