K-01 featured in DP Review's "Ten one-of-a-kind cameras from the 21st Century"

I debated putting this is the Pentax news section (I guess it's not news) but still, thought it was pretty cool we got a mention. Where were CANON? Oh, NOWHERE.

Still on about the slow AF, that's so FW1.00 of them.. oh well, the K-01 remains our little secret!

I had a chuckle when I read the reviewers comment about the chunky body, and that it defeated the purpose of being a mirrorless camera. Like the size is the only reason you have a mirrorless camera. What about the fact you have no mirror slap, no mirror vibration?

I've said right along I didn't want one of those skinny, shiny, hipster cameras that couldn't be held and weren't pocketable any more when you added a lens - nevermind an adapter and a lens. But reviewers willfully ignore the truth about mirrorless cameras. It's like they're getting paid, or free samples or something.

"I have to admit that I was a little nervous about including the K-01 in this list, as Pentax has a very loyal fan base"

You said it man.

Well one-of-a-kind doesn't have to be equivalent to one-hit-wonder, so why be nervous? Or is this an insult article? I thought what he wrote was pretty fair other than the AF error.

Interesting list in general. I think it lets you know what a conservative bunch photographers really are. Few are looking for new form factor or, anything different from the past. Although they do seem to be open to any color, as long as it's black.
