Keep in mind that Contrast-Detect AF "sees" things differently from Phase-Detect. If there is something behind the subject with stronger contrast, CDAF will go after it. For example: when shooting a daffodil (narcissus to some), you probably want the "cup" in focus, but it's yellow, and the petals behind it are yellow, so there isn't much contrast. However, the stem is a sharp-edged green stripe against the background. The K-01 will lock on the stem every time, and the "cup" will be out of focus. With this in mind, and a little practice, you can catch it before it goes hunting. In some ways, it's like shooting in black-and-white, where you think more in terms of shapes and shadows, rather than colors.
