K-01 Settings - saving as file to SDcard?

Anyone aware of a way to save all the settings as a file to the SD card? Undocumented maybe? Or?

After playing around for several hours to get the settings 'just right' for use (only) with my M42 lenses, it would be nice not to have to write them all down - just reload them.

What do you change for M42 lenses? I switch between M42/K and A lenses often and don't change anything deep in the settings.

K-01 using only M42's

I only use M42s - the only lenses I have from buying my last new Pentax - a Spotmatic ES II 'a few years ago'. No 'A' or DA or anything newer at all.

I never did like the change to bayonet.

Got the K-01 for hopefully a little fun before my expiration date

Anyway, settings I use that might not be best for auto/semi-auto are:
Green Button to toggle Focus Peaking on and off
Auto ISO - but limited to 3200
AF/AE-L - to Shutter Lock - since I can never use Autofocus anything
AE metering to Center Weighted

So far finding that I like my M42 SMC 50mm F4 MACRO a lot and use it when there is light. 'No' light - I switch to my 50mm F1.4 8-element Super Tak, (S/N 1484321) or the 50mm F1.4 SMC Tak from the ES II.

As long as you don't remove the battery for a long time or update the firmware you shouldn't need to touch the settings again. Writing them down is really the only way, since I don't think even debug would allow this.

I was thinking you wanted something so you can quickly change between setups for different types of lenses, since the K-01 lacks the user modes.

Hey there. Nice collection, and I think the K-01 is well suited for your purposes. But I don't think it, or any other Pentax camera, has that function (though, some have User/custom modes)
I don't think that is a problem, though. It would take longer to find the SD card and load the settings than it does to change them. After you use the camera for a while, you will find yourself quickly changing settings all the time, depending on the scene in front of you.
