Still, that was just an observation I made, so please don't be upset as it does not reflect on your own opinion or your choice to use custom skins.
Thanks for posting, I'd not have known about them otherwise.

I agree, the IQ is excellent and there's very little left that would improve and already excellent little camera.
Not upset at all!
I was just trying to make sure you understand that is not as bad as you might think it is. Also keep in mind that some skins are thicker than others - depends on the material.
I was also trying to put some of your fears to rest. It is good quality from my point of view.

I'm the kind of guy that tends to customize/personalize things that I really, really like... so I can feel that they are truly my own.
Things that I don't like them that much, while I enjoy them, I don't get too keep them for too long.
In the end, each to its own

Thank you very much for your comments, mrNewt! You may well have convinced me to take the plunge...
I'm glad you've found it helpful - just remember its a tool with its strong points and quirks. Learn them, accept them and you will be a happy shooter .
Oh and for the prices they go nowadays... is impossible to go wrong (I'm secretly thinking to get a second one)!

That is the plate where the SWIVI view finder gets mounted on (it comes with the SWIVI view finder) - removed it for the picture or else the brothers would of been dwarfed.
Is also the plate where I mount my flashes.

Is a decent setup that gives more light than I will ever need.
Right now I am working on doing a DIY ring flash diffuser for it. I have 2 large box diffusers but wanna give the ring flash a try and see if I get better results.
