Changing thumb wheel to ISO in M mode?

I've been messing around with my new K 55 f/1.8 and noticed a few things: namely, that if the ISO is set to auto you can shoot at will, but only wide open. When you set the ISO to a hard value, the thumb wheel adjusts shutter speed. Is there a way to change the wheel to adjust ISO instead? It would certainly be a much quicker way to adjust ISO and set the shutter via the green button--as it currently stands, having the shutter speed on the thumbwheel is somewhat redundant given that I use the green button to set the shutter speed. I've looked and poked and prodded in every menu I can think of, but I haven't been able to figure this one out.

I don't think it lets you change the e-dial mapping to that in M mode. I could be wrong though.

Put it in Av mode, and change the e-Dial behavior in the menu.

On my K5, I just press the [ISO] button on the top, and use the rear thumb wheel to set it where ever. I just did it in M, Tav, AV .....

Haha that too...

Edit: K-01 forum, just noticed. The OP might be stuck with having to press the ISO button.

That's what it looks like, unfortunately. No A lens, so M mode and the green button is all I'm left with. Now if only I could make the red button act as a green button, it wouldn't be too bad. Reaching past the shutter for the green button is much more cumbersome than hitting the red button.
