Didn't think the barrel was that big - it blocks off the Pentax name! Looking forward to reading your review, as I'm also tempted by the new Sigma 30mm and would appreciate a K-01 user's perspective on it...

I know size isn't important but I couldn't resist posting a picture of my K-01 with a Tamron 500mm mirror lens ... not entirely a practical proposition hand-held but not bad with a monopod.

With that mirror lens it reminds of the Sony Nex cameras!

My Pentax K-01 paired with Zeiss Flektogon 35mm f2.4 and with large metal lens hood and Pentax UV Ghostless lens filter. I often use this combo as Zeiss gives me close-to-normal FOV and has some unique abilities. X-posted from the newly formed Zeiss Flektogon 35mm lens club

What a pile of different lenses....mine gets used almost exclusively with the 21 ltd and 40 xs, and they're both already here. Maybe I'll put my Vivatar K-135 2.8s on it, I bet no one has posted one of those.

Love the look of this thing. It's really too bad Pentax didn't develop an in-body lens.
Do you have any photos from this combo?
