I've seen threads on the VF-1 before, but not sure if anyone has mentioned aspect ratio. I have the VF-1 and find it suits the K01 very well for two of my lenses, a 21/3.2 Limited and a Sigma 24/1.8 EX DG. For the 24mm lens I leave the K01 AR set at 3:2, but for the 21mm I change it to 4:3. This way the horizontal view through the viewfinder closely matches the horizontal framing of the lens in each case. The Sigma, being rather monstrous, blocks out part of the lower view through the finder, but it's still useable. This issue would not arise with a more modestly sized 24mm lens.


Just wanted to throw this in as a recommendation for the VF-1, a neater solution than some I've seen— it looks good on the camera (oh I did have to 'thin' the foot slightly with sandpaper, it was a very tight fit otherwise)

I bought an Olympus VF-1 to use with my Pentax K-01 and a Sigma 24/2.8 AF lens.

Have you guys tried the VF-1 with a 28mm lens and did it work out? What settings did you use if it did?
